dcI used to find it hard to understand difference between toshite and nitotte. These examples may clarify

sensei ... = as a teacher (I came to japan)		 
dctoshite is usually used to explain a role. not "as me" but as something - a teacher, a policeman. 
Toridoes anyone know aything about としての　?

dcalso from # onward are examples of としての .. the の usually seems to be used when preceding a noun. (kind of like a reverse noun clause?)

I don't understand the meaning of を. In this case, として should be translated as "as"?

When and how I use the pattern 〜を〜として or 〜を〜とする or 〜を〜とした?		 
tigertKing [として]　and [とする] are diffrent grammar points

 
karekano李さん is the same thing as Mister Lee? I just knew this kanji as Sumomo...
