Equivalent to a question mark. Used mostly in informal male speech. Grammatical only for questions that can be answered "yes/no" (see also "dai"). Unsuitable to ask a superior a question. To the cab driver: "Kita Senju made itte kureru kai?" Will you go as far as Kita Senju for me?
